I’m Valerie — a photographer driven by love, loss, and the belief that every moment deserves to be remembered.



My passion for photography began in childhood, long before I understood how deeply it would shape my life. I was always the one behind the camera at family gatherings, quietly preserving the laughter, the hugs, the in‑between moments that felt ordinary at the time — but now mean everything.

In 2019, my father passed away. We never had the chance to take a family portrait together, and that absence changed me. It made me realize how fragile time is, and how easily we assume there will always be “another day.”

Then, in 2020, my world shattered again when my daughter was killed by a drunk driver. Once more, I was left without the family photos I thought we’d eventually take — portraits of all my children and grandchildren together. That pain became clarity. I understood, with absolute certainty, that photographs are more than images. They are proof of love. They are legacy. They are the only thing time cannot take from us.

That’s when photography became more than a passion — it became my purpose.

Today, I create portraits with intention, tenderness, and a deep respect for the families who trust me. I don’t just take pictures; I preserve the moments you’ll want to hold onto forever. The way your child fits in your arms right now. The way your partner looks at you. The joy, the connection, the story only your family can tell.

My work is for families who value meaning over perfection, emotion over posing, and memories that will outlive us all.
